Art Camp! is getting closer and closer at Chicopee Agricultural Center and we're excited!
Art Camp only works with a well structured team and we'd like you to know a little about them!
In our team spotlight today is the incomparable Deanna Neal-Dwyre (we call her Ms Dee Dee😉)
She's been with Art Camp for so long we've lost count and we hope she never quits! She's retired now, but spent over twenty years in the Hall County and Gainesville City School System teaching art and special education. She currently teaches after school art classes at Celestial Studios I've never met anyone that connects with littles as much as Ms Dee Dee. She is multifaceted and light-hearted. She sings and dances and tells jokes and riddles. She hides serious art technique lessons inside fun projects. There's no one in the world who doesn't ❤️ Ms Dee Dee
She says: Hi I am Deanna Neal-Dwyre, but my students call me Ms DD. I am a Visual Arts teacher with Masters degree in Art Education. Teaching art camp for the past 20 + years has been the highlight of my life. I am so excited to be a part of Art Camp with Celestial Studios this summer. Nothing excites me more than being a part of teaching young minds to discover, create and love art.
The only thing I love more than art is kids!

Kids, we are so excited to be able to host ART CAMP this summer, with the fabulous Fox 🦊 from Celestial Studios! Miss Fox and her talented team are bringing Art Camp to Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center for several fun filled week long camps!

Kids will experience an immersive week of drawing, painting, modeling in 3D, printmaking, and collage, with materials including pastel, fiber, papercraft, graphite, recycled materials, plaster, and more! With four weeks to choose from, it makes it easy on those busy summer schedules. Art Camp weeks offered are:

In our team spotlight right now is the spectacular Ansleigh Houston! It's her third year with us at Camp and we absolutely love the way she exhibits fun and whimsy at all times. You'll find her really dressing the part in her extensive collection of Art Inspired clothing and accessories. She is going into her fourth year as Art Teacher in the Hall County school system at Riverbend Elementary. Miss Ansleigh's attention to detail and bright spirit make her invaluable to our team.
She says: I’m Ms. Ansleigh, and I have been teaching art for three years as well as many years of working with littles under my belt. I am thrilled to be working at Art Camp again this summer and to be creating fun, unique projects with the talented young artists that sign up! The creativity and imagination I see during Art Camp is incredible, and I can’t wait to see what our artists create this year!
