With tomorrow being the first day of school here in Gainesville GA, let's celebrate the summer by reflecting on some awesome moments from Art Camp-Moonwalkers this year! We had so much fun and completed so many projects it's head spinning! Thank you to all campers, their grownups, my Co-teachers Deanna Neal-Jennifer Palmerfer Palmer, our interns, guest artists, our set up/break down Feral Print Co. Print Co. for our perfect t-shirts, as always. It's a small army of people who care deeply about the creativity of the children in our community that make this special camp happen every year.
Also, a very special thank you to all donors this year! You sent 9 kids to camp that wouldn't have been able to go otherwise, seeded money for next year, upgraded some of our supplies, bought three more tables for this growing crowd, and helped me meet my goal of sending every kid home with a pro sketch book at the end of camp. The sketch books were a huge hit and got many of these kids right in the feels. I was surprised at how many little eyes welled up with the idea of taking it home.

Thanks to our Amazing Art Camp Intern Team for our Intern Takeover today! They were assigned a group, planned a project, got it approved, prepped, and taught the project from start to finish. Many of our interns through the years a have gone on to educational careers or worked with kids or in team building. Never to early to start!
